Worship Welcome to the Worship Team Ministry

Worship is at the heart of everything we do in New Life in Christ (NLIC). We worship God and serve him with single-minded devotion (Matt.4:10, Luke 4:8). Our aim and desire in the worship team are to worship God in spirit and in truth and model this for the whole church. Jesus said:

“ But the hour is coming and now is when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is a spirit and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth” (John 4:23-24).

To worship the Lord ‘in spirit and truth’ means to worship Him with our whole heart, soul and strength. So, at NLIC we encourage everyone to worship God in spirit and truth, as an expression of our love and devotion to Him. The Holy Spirit is pivotal to our worship. The songs we sing and the declaration of faith we proclaim in our worship of God are all Holy Spirit inspired. Therefore, we follow the Holy Spirit’s leading in our worship services. As we walk in the love of Jesus Christ, meditate on God’s Word in the Bible, and serve God, He ministers back to us the Father’s love and blessings.
