Lessons from the life of Joshua Son of Nun – a man of Vision, Character & faith

Over the last month, we have been studying the life of the person of Joshua son of Nun from the Exodus period of the Old Testament and Hebrew scriptures. The life and example of Joshua help us to see that the difficulties we sometimes unjustly suffer, caused often by the refusal of others to follow God’s lead, as well as the sometimes harsh and barren circumstances in life, can be transformed for good when given back to the God of the Universe, through a trusting and devoted prayer life. What might seem initially as a painful loss and monotonous, repetitive punishment, can become a rich and rewarding experience that prepares us for future responsibility, victory and success, as we enter (eventually) into the place of reward and prosperity.’
