Carol Guevarra

Carol is from the Philippines and has lived in Harrogate for over 10 years. She became a Christian at age nineteen and then later moved to Hong Kong, where she trained in ministry, growing in prayer and discovering her calling.

She is committed to working and fulfilling her God-given destiny, through teaching and exhortation and has a passion to share the gospel. She has the gift of hospitality and loves to work as part of a team to serve others.

New Life in Christ has been her church since arriving in Harrogate. She says, “I love NLIC because I am chosen, loved and surrounded by Godly people.”

She is on the leadership team, leads services and enjoys preaching.
Her favourite place is to be in her kitchen cooking up delicious Asian food to give to friends!

The most beautiful place she has lived in is the Cayman Islands and her dream would be to visit Israel one day.

Carol is Married to Marty her hard-working husband who loves intercession and is celebrating over 15 years of marriage, they have a teenage son.
